Futures extend losses after inflation data

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Stock index futures extended losses on Tuesday after a report showed that producer prices, excluding volatile food and energy, grew at a faster-than-expected pace in April, adding to fears of greater inflation.

S&P 500 futures fell 9.4 points and were below fair value, a formula that evaluates pricing by taking into account interest rates, dividends and time to expiration on the contract.

Dow Jones industrial average futures dropped 90 points, and Nasdaq 100 futures shed 14.75 points.
