NEW YORK (Reuters) -The Dow <.DJI> and the Nasdaq <.IXIC> turned positive in late afternoon trading on Monday, as financials bounced off their session lows in volatile trade and technology stocks like IBM
The S&P 500 also trimmed losses.
The Dow Jones industrial average <.DJI> was up 16.45 points, or 0.15 percent, at 11,304.99. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index <.SPX> was down just 0.76 of a point, or 0.06 percent, at 1,262.14. The Nasdaq Composite Index <.IXIC> was up 15.57 points, or 0.69 percent, at 2,260.95.
